Class A CDL – farm store in Neelyville is hiring for a Class A CDL driver to deliver fertilizer. When not making deliveries, will be required to help in the shop doing general labor work. Must be able to drive a manual transmission. Hours will vary depending on the season. Pay rate is $13/hr.

General Laborer – farm store in Neelyville is hiring for a general laborer to work around the shop, stocking shelves, loading and unloading trucks, helping out around the yard, etc. Must be able to work outdoors in the elements. Must know how to drive a manual transmission. Day shift hours may vary. Pay rate $13/hr.

Welding Assistant – local factory is hiring for a temporary welding assistant. Job will last approximately 1 month. Must be able to use a cutting torch and move steel and other metals around. Hours will vary. Pay rate is $20-25/hr DOE. 

Warehouse – company in New Madrid is hiring for their warehouse. Job will start immediately and last until Mid March. Job duties include inspecing product for quality, cleaning product, packaging seeds, shipping/receiving, wash bay, etc.  Must have computer skills and forklift experience. Previous warehouse experience using handheld scanners preferred.  Must be able to work swing shift: 6am – 6pm, 4 days on/4 days off, then move to 6pm – 6am, 4 days on/4 days off. Pay rate for day shift is $18/hr and night shift is $19.50/hr.

Building Maintenance – local factory is hiring for both  day shift and night shift building maintenance workers. Must have 3-5 years of maintenance experience. Will also be required to help out in the factory as needed. Day shift hours are Mon – Fri 7am-5pm and night shift hours are Sun – Thu 9pm-7am. Pay rate DOE. 

Secret Shopper – local company is hiring for a secret shopper to do tobacco and alcohol compliance checks. Must have reliable transportation to travel outside of the Poplar Bluff area. Job consists of 1-2 routes every month. Must be between the ages of 21-25 years old for this particular job. Flexible hours. Pay rate $17/hr + $20 transportation bonus. 

Production workers -Briggs & Stratton – local factory is hiring for production workers. Must undergo a nationwide criminal background check. Must commit to working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday plus any scheduled OT on Saturdays 6:00am – 3:00pm. Pay rate is $13.50/hr.  

Production workers –PECO Foods in Pocahontas, AR – poultry processing plant in Pocahontas, AR is hiring for production workers. Excellent benefits once transitioned to their payroll. Must be able to work in a very cold environment, stand for long periods of time, and use hands and fingers on a continual basis for 8 hours. 1st shift is 7:45am-5:00pm and pay rate is $15.55/hr. 2nd shift is 4:45pm-3:00am and pay rate is $16.55/hr. 3rd shift is 1:45am-8:00am and pay rate is $17.01/hr. 12 hour shifts now available 3-4 days/wk. $3/hr weekly bonuses for perfect attendance.  Free transportation may be provided for the first 90 days.
